Founded in 1992 by Curt and Brenda Hartline, HSI was built on a foundation of extensive hands-on mining and electrical experience. Curt studied electrical applications at Penn State University before beginning his career working in the electrical operations of a coal mine in Kentucky. There, he gained practical, field-tested expertise in mine electrical systems and equipment. Today, Brian Hartline continues that legacy, having been involved in the business since its founding and carrying its work forward.
