Cable Testing

Each phase of the cable is Hypot tested at 200% its rated voltage.

Each phase is tested for a period of one to 15 minutes depending on customer requirements.


Ground checks are tested with a crown AC tester specifically designed to test ground check wires.

If a cable tests bad or shows leakage, we use a Biddle Thumper to locate the problem area.
